This has been the challenge taken on by Juan Vilar Consultores Estratégicos to adapt to both the environment and the needs of its clients; with 7 years of age, many more years of experience, and with a global presence all over the world.
Evolving and always working without losing sight of three criteria: collaborating with its clients in the improvement and creation of new business models; increasing their capacity to adapt to changes; and, promoting the improvement of their economic results.
This has required a strong training and experimental training that its team has assumed, feeling empowered, and achieving a greater role, from being Juan Vilar Consultores Estratégicos, to Vilcon, a consulting firm for agriculture and agri-food, which also incorporates its own experimental farm, adding a number of additional services. All of them aimed at contributing to the continuous improvement of its clients’ performance, as a result of greater flexibility, adaptability and creativity.
The objective is to surpass the environment in agility and anticipate it through transformation and continuous adaptation based on experience, knowledge and talent.
The rebranding arises from the framework of greater specialization and superior experience, and all this in order to contribute to an adaptive improvement of its customers to an increasingly less stable and permanent context in time, under the tutelage of a complete and experienced multidisciplinary team.
We are one of the most reputable consulting companies for agriculture and agri-food in the world, with an international experience of more than 30 years, a background that has allowed us to work for a large number of public and private institutions around the world.
After a long career in the business executive field, and in the environment of research and teaching, the company arises in 2017, working at that time at the national level, almost immediately we began to collaborate with companies in Portugal, in 2018 we jumped to the other side of the planet, it was our first project in Argentina, this led us to work on the American continent in countries such as Canada, United States, Uruguay, Brazil, or Chile, among others.
In the same way, through a mission with the International Olive Council, we went to Israel and Palestine. Then in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Turkey and China, among other Asian countries.
At the request of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, we helped with the first olive grove inventory in Tunisia. This was followed by Morocco, as well as other sites, in less than five years.
In Europe, we worked with the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, France, of course, in addition to the aforementioned Spain and Portugal.
In 2022, we had our first two projects in Australia and New Zealand.
