Terminator is a science fiction and action movie from 1984. In the film, the Terminator T-800 cyborg, Cyberdyne’s model 101 of the military artificial intelligence of the future returns to the past to exterminate Sarah Connor, the mother John Connor, the one who will eventually lead the future human victory over the Tech COM.
Sarah Connor’s character in Terminator and Terminator II is played by Linda Hamilton, a woman who changes from a fragile woman in the first film into a female action heroine in the second thriller. This categorized her as one of the toughest and most feared women in Hollywood.
Linda Hamilton did not hesitate to play this role again a whole 28 years after the original making of the film. To bring back theSarah Connor of yesteryear, she had to be meticulous and strict in undergoing hard training and acquiring new eating habits,including a daily intake of EVOO.
To do this, Linda put herself in the hands of Mackie Shilstone, a prestigious trainer and nutritionist who has served various elite athletes and celebrities. One of these included John Goodman, who lost 60 kg eating an EVOO-based diet in preparation for the role of the famous Fred Flintstone.
Linda, at 61 years old, underwent medical and physiological tests that gave the green light to Mackie’s training and diet. And, after a year of hard work and dedication, Linda managed to look like the expected Sarah Connor.
She followed all the nutritional and exercise advice that Mackie gave. Her diet included a daily intake of protein and carbohydrates, fruit, vegetables, lean meat and what Mackie considered the most essential of all, a daily intake of EVOO.
Throughout her training, Linda felt a lot more energetic and did not fade in the face of adversity. She always had a smile on her face and her positive attitude was contagious. She never deviated from her commitment and now reiterates that she would never have achieved her goal without her wonderful diet, based in EVOO. She confesses and is grateful that Sarah Connor ultimately gave her the opportunity to start a new love affair with EVOO.
