In the south of Texas we find the farm known as the «Texas Olive Ranch». Its owner, Jim Henry, a great businessman who has traveled half the world and who was fascinated by the olive groves of southern Spain, wanted to start to plant this millenary crop on his land.

In order to do this, he studied the best cultivation systems and specialized in olive groves, which has led him to be one of the most recognized people in this field in the USA. Throughout the hundreds of acres on the land, he initiated this project with 50,000 olive trees of the Arbequina, Arbosana and Koroneiki varieties.

Currently, he already produces more than 25,000 liters a year and the farm is about to exceed 300,000 olive trees.

This entrepreneur, known in his region as «The Tree Whisperer», has managed to create the Mediterranean olive culture in the «Wild West».
